Every home needs at least one hot tub, for their household particularly during winter seasons. Usually in some household it is part of their bathroom furniture, but in many household they have portable hot tub at their house, which can be carried at any convenient place for use. It can be made to order item or commercially produced item available in the market. The purpose of hot tub is for relaxation, massage or some kind of hydrotherapy. There is no standardized hot tub; all of them have some system of supplying hot water with a jet pipe. There some hot tubs are made of wooden material while some are made of plastics.
There is a source of heating of water in the hot tub. Heating can be with Electric supply or it can be with gas supply. In some places I have seen solar heaters are also used for supplying hot water. It is necessary that water should be periodically sanitized so that if there is any living organism exists within water, are destroyed and disposed off. This can be done by chemical treatment of water also. Poorly sanitized water source could be a source of various diseases, hence it is essential to consider this aspect. If the water heating system is done through electricity then proper insulation of electric source must be done. As water is a good conductor of electricity and if by chance there is any electric supply leakage within water it can be dangerous. There is also some piping and pumps through which water supplies are made. Also there has to be some suction system which will control the water level within the tub. There is also filter is used to ensure clean supply of water. Some tubs has got proper sitting place also for number of people. These considerations are made as per individual need of the family.
